Volkl Racetiger SL R JR w/PLATE L 22/23

From Renntiger to Racetiger, from one generation to the next. When Völkl developed the new Racetiger SL R Jr, the R&D team together with ski legends Giorgio Rocca and Manfred Pranger tested every single ski length with boys and girls from various ski clubs and also with their own children. Giorgo's sons Francesco and Giaccomo as well as Manfred's kids Mario and Laura Pranger are all very talented and enthusiastic junior racers and their feedback combined with their fathers' knowhow did significantly contribute to the new construction of the Racetiger SL R Jr.

So even though the construcion of all lengths is basically identical, the individual proportions of each layer and material do vary with every length. A torsionally soft tip softens the torsion in the outer tip for approximately 60%. As a result the ski tip reacts very precise and direct, turn initiations work much easier and the kids need less power throughout the whole curve.
The new series also features a new Race plate interface with a joint in the center, creating a much more harmonic bending curve. The new drill pattern allows a more direct power transfer right on the edge and the X-Comp binding can be attached with only 3 instead of 4 screws. This way the ski is more forgiving and smoother to ride.
