The newest edition to our Intuition line up. The Pro Tongue is a custom designed liner for higher performing lower volume boot shells. Thinner in the body and forefoot, with an extra thick dense foam around the cuff and down the full length of the tongue this liner will perform with the same quick responsiveness as the Power Wrap. The 2mm thick rubber bottom was such a success on the Pro Wrap we have incorporated it here as well. Not only is it perfect for getting a footbed into the lowest volume shells, but it also slides into the shell with no stretching and rare wrinkles.
This is the most responsive tongue liner we have ever offered and will rival the feel of the power wrap. For those who have become accustomed to the comfort and feel of the power wrap, but are still looking for a tongue liner that will be equally as comfortable and able to perform at the same level as the Power Wrap, look no further. For those who have not tried an Intuition liner because they just simply didn't want a wrapped model, look no further. This liner will out perform any stock liner and offer better warmth and comfort at the same time.
The Pro Tongue liner is the stiffest of all our tongue style liners with hard tongue and cuff reinforcements, a traditional style 2mm stroble sole with PU covering, and a thinner, softer toe box which allows more toe room in tight fitting shells. The Pro Tongues come with a removable 7mm foam insert, which make them ideal for custom footbeds. The Pro Tongue is a medium volume liner and works best with a shell fit* of One – two fingers (1/2″-1¼”). If your shell is a half size, round down for this model.
For best results we recommend having these liners heat molded at a shop by a professional bootfitter. Stiffer models require more attention when heated, while others can be easily molded by using the home fit kit.
*CHECKING SHELL FIT
In order to determine the right thickness of liner for you, start by checking your shell fit. To do this, pull the existing liner out of the shell. Stand with your bare foot inside the bare shell, and move your foot all the way forward so that your toes are touching the end. Bend your knee and flex forward a bit so that you can slide your hand or even a pencil into the shell behind your leg. How many fingers can you fit between your heel and the shell?
